This site has been around for quite a while but as of March 21st, 2006 it's got a face lift and a new attitude towards it's existance.

Though the aim for this site is still to bring the visitors access to information on how to build fun and exciting devices, we are reeling it in a bit. The original site design was intended to be this huge deal where everyone contributed information. All this got us was a bunch of people spamming our forums and comments with annoying advertisments instead of useful data.

With this in mind, actual accounts for this site are now restricted to people who actually want to post real howtos and projects that they have completed. These users will get their own geek invention blog as well as being one of the site maintainers including writing articles and moderating their forums, etc... Users without accounts will be limited to mostly a 'read-only' type view of the site (saving us on the automated spammings).

If you have something to contribute, by all means, register for an account. You may get an email from me asking if you are a real human and what your interest with the site is. If you are just an average user looking for information we bid you welcome!

Call For All Geeks!

So, with the revamp of the site we are in need of renewed interest from world wide geeks.

Have you made a lego driven cd disc changer? Have you made a usb powered beer cooler? Have you made an arcade cabinet? Done anything cool with solar power? If so, bring your stories here.

You can blog all your experiments and be treated as one of the smartest people in the world. Note: You may NOT be the smartest person in the world but we will still try to treat you like one! ;)

Anyway, we need some fresh new ideas so get off your butt, do something cool and come here to post them!
